What FDA Warning Monitor covers.

The feed is a curated public-source monitor. It is designed to help followers notice FDA signals faster, not to replace a validated compliance monitoring system.

Included sources

Warning letters

FDA warning-letter index pages, including recently posted batches where the issue date may be older than the post date.

Recall and safety alerts

FDA recalls, market withdrawals, and safety alerts page plus OpenFDA drug, device, and food enforcement APIs.

Announcements and guidance

FDA press announcements, guidance-search records, untitled letters, and import-alert pages are monitored as best-effort public signals.

Limits

FDA Warning Monitor is not complete regulatory surveillance. It may miss or delay items from center-specific pages, PDFs, database schema changes, source outages, import-alert subpages, inspection observations, warning-letter closeouts, advisory notices, and records not exposed cleanly through the monitored public pages or APIs.

How to use it

Use the feed as an early signal layer.

For followers, the right promise is source-linked triage: see public FDA items, open the source, and decide whether the item deserves closer review. Do not use the feed as a sole source for legal, regulatory, compliance, quality, medical, investment, audit, or professional decisions.
